Vampires Move in on Irish Families

category national | housing | press release author Wednesday September 21, 2011 17:43author by Protest Allsop Auction - Protest Allsop Auction Report this post to the editors

Smart Properties in association with Allsop auctioneers are moving to sell off the repossessed homes of Irish families this week, one can only make comparisons to the days of the English landlords turfing Irish people off their land and out of their homes for inability to pay rent that was collected by the Landlords Irish lackies.

On Friday 23rd of September, Ireland is set to take a giant step back into the days of landlords and Peasants as the homes of those most affected by the Government Banking Policies see their homes go under the hammer to property speculators.

The Auction is being Organised by Irish Company Smart Properties who are apparently working as the gillies of the English Company Allsop.

This occurs in the same week that Minister for Finance Michael Noonan has decided to backtrack again on his promise to allow the mega rich bondholders accept responsibility for their mistakes and instead has agreed to pay out a whopping €21.5 billion of Irish peoples money as a nice gesture to them for losing so much money gambling.
A mere fraction of that money would solve the mortgage crisis and prevent the inevitable social disasters that will follow and also ensure that Special Needs Assistants would be maintained according to need.

We Shall be protesting peacefully outside the Shelbourne Hotel on St Stephen's Green in Dublin 2 from 10.30am on Friday 23rd September and we ask all who feels strongly about the continued abuse of power and the unforgivable hardships being imposed on the most needy in our society to please turn up to show that we will not tolerate the downright criminality being inflicted upon us for any longer.

Doesn't matter if the speculators are British, Irish, or Martian, it's still greedy, immoral, and antisocial.

The bail-outs retrospectively fund reckless banking pre-2008. Reckless banking caused the inflated house prices which result in the repossessions we see today. The repossessed properties end up in these auctions. So basically the bail-outs allow the speculators to acquire houses at knock-down prices. Have I got that right? Go ahead and pick holes, but by and large I think it stands up. Public money ends up in private hands, at a time when we need it sorely.
