Hundreds More Repossessed Homes Go to British Speculators

category international | housing | news report author Monday September 26, 2011 10:48author by PAW - People's Association Watchdog Report this post to the editors

British Auctioneers "Allsop" and their irish accomplices Smart Properties are coming back to draw more blood from the already wound weary Irish people who are already suffering terribly due to mortgage difficulties, price hikes, cuts to hospital services and many other badly needed necessities.

The Next Auction scheduled for November 30th at the Shelbourne Hotel in Dublin 2 will see Hundreds of repossessed Family homes being sold off to the highest bidder.

A spokesperson from The National Self Help Group PAW (peoples Association Watchdog) have condemned this latest news and said " This is unfortunately what we were expecting, The recent auction was a test run to assess the reaction of the public and now Allsop & Smart Properties are going in for the kill", " If the Government is not willing to be proactive to act to protect the families affected, within 12 months we can expect the situation in Ireland to be at such a dire level that a recovery will be impossible", the very fabric of society is being torn to shreds to satisfy the blood lust of these financial vampires" they said.

PAW have been overwhelmed with support since the last auction and they say that a massive turnout is expected for the next one, They are calling on all members of the public to boycott this shameful event and participate in a peaceful, dignified protest at the venue.

Minister Noonan Must act now to save these families, We are all fully aware that the bank bailouts for which we are all paying covers distressed mortgages, so he must stop the banks in their ruthless pursuit of an already payed debt before the headlines are covered by tragedy caused by stress and hopelessness.

We cannot stand by and watch as foreign mega rich bond holders are being handed enormous sums of money that they are not entitled to while children are made homeless and irreparable damage is inflicted upon Irish citizens, of the €21.5 billion given to bondholders last week with the stroke of a pen and without explanation, Minister Noonan could have solved the mortgage crisis and the Special Needs Assistants requirements with just a fraction of that amount, We must ask why he is serving the interests of foreign bankers and not the genuine needs of the Irish people as he is mandated to to and obliged to do under our constitution.

We implore all decent minded Irish men and women, to stand up against these monsters and to show some compassion for the families that are being made homeless through the greed of the money men that have driven us all into these dark days of worry and desperation.
