If the BBC Never Questions Net Zero the Journalists Might as Well be Replaced by ChatGPT Thu Nov 27, 2025 09:00 | Chris Morrison
If the BBC is never going to question Net Zero, what's the point of employing so many journalists, asks Chris Morrison. They might as well be replaced with AI and save the public a heap of money.

Jump To Comment: 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8It will be the biggest hoodwink in recent times if the new Legislation to give more powers to Dail Committees and the Oireachtas this Thursday. It is precarious how this lethal element of legislation is being voted upon on the same day as the Presidential circus at play. Today a colleague of mine phoned me and then sent me a copy of detail and as the story goes 'the devil is in the detail'. If this law is passed the Oireachtas will have sweeping powers with an inner circle of hidden hand-picked Gardai or headless civies to enter your house, take away your computer, your lap-tops, documents, whatever they see fit to be relevant and the only reason they need is to point you out as a danger in their terminology of democracy. This is most serious. The reason why I put this topic under the good people on Dame Street article today is (acknowledge non party affiliated) because these new powers can deem people who organise marches against Govt policies to be anti establishment and fit for investigation which means a complete invasion of your life.
This morning on Pat Kenny Radio 1 I could hardly believe what I was hearing. McDowell above all people classified this law as the return of the Cold War Stasi (Secret Police). This is most serious and all people on the left, I am sure area aware of the fall out if this anti-democratic legislation is passed on Thursday next. 8 former Attorney General's today have collectively come out and made their stance known against the introduction of this legislation. In my humble opinion this alone speaks dividends.

This blunt instrument in the hands of the morons and sheep in the Dáil does not bear thinking about. I can see the good people of Ireland voting for it, after all they seem willing to vote for a FFer for President. Fair play to those on Dame street and South Mall, Cork. Big Finance is playing use like a cat with a mouse. Democracy is a myth, however, there are more of us than them!
..a myth.
Its just not being practised by those who hijacked the project, as they hijack all progressive movements..even progress..witness McD and his 'Progressive Ds'. Heard him this morn. First thought: he's being wheeled out to make us vote FOR it. If he 's against....
But it is liable to homeland security type use, and is a distraction from the radical changes we need. The curlprits are hardly going to provide a solution.
Meantime, down in Wall St(not in the buildings, the street) the occupiers ARE practising it. We've all practised it, and do daily, or nothing would work at all. Not even their pseudo-democratic holding op.
democracy is a tyranny of the stupid
they voted ahern back in after a few fake tears on prime time TV
They think the rossport protesters are holding back progress
not a murmur about tara
they voted for lisbon II
They think sean gallagher will make a great president because he was on tv
they tacitly agree with this: "Shure we need to give 200 billion to the german banks, its the only way forward"
and probably this :"and shure whats wrong with voting in the Irish Stasi to oppress democratic protest and wipe out our hard won freedoms at the stroke of a pen if it means the judges get a few quid less"
Idiots all.
we are an ignorant stupid people and we need to wake up and cop on real fast!
The eurocops will be in pretty soon to apply this new legislation when it goes through and to put their jackboots on our necks while they steal all our state assets and extract the last drop of blood out of our economy for the german banksters, while sean gallagher kisses babies, pats poodles, and trousers 5000 euro a week.
Its going on since...........
I been trying to upload a lecture by Noam Chomsky, given last April to Toronto University but Oscailt wont oscail e.

Suggest you google it and gather the ammunition while we can. Before they close everything down.
