Cuts to education, cuts to life.

potential postgrad, to long term unemployed.

Offered a place on a postgrad course unable to continue due to budget 2012. no job no hope and no independant money to do the masters. Also I have family dependants, so it really feels like a sentence in regards to my future or rather the undermining of career to be financially independent, alas its not going to happen.

Congraduations to the government for this current budget, 2012. They have successfully sentenced me to long term, if not for the rest of my life to the posistion of state dependant, including a family. If you need a grant for fees and maintenance, guess what your poor otherwise you wouldn't need it, a no brainer. What delusional ignorance to assume postgraduate training is not relevant or somehow they can conger up the money from no where, what about educational standards this country misguidedly boasts about, creating the potential to attract companies on that basis alone. Well forget that it no longer applies to Ireland. So instead of giving me a grant so I can educate myself back to employment, they can now continue to support me and my family on benefits, because with my undergrad I cannot get work. So I really hope that the basis rates of welfare are never reduced that would be hell. Welfare recipient as sentenced by Gov.
