Comhlámh's What Next Course for Returned Volunteers

‘What Next?’ is a course for returnees who have lived and worked overseas in the capacity of learner, volunteer or development worker, and who are interested in continuing engaging in development education from Ireland.

What Next? A Comhlámh course for returned volunteers

Have you recently returned from volunteering overseas? Are you considering 'what's next' in terms of your engagement in development? We have the course for you!

What Next? is a course for returned volunteers. The course will take place over a residential weekend (in an eco village – all expenses covered!) and 2 separate days.

Throughout the course, there will be a chance to share overseas experiences with other returned volunteers, to make connections and to explore the endless possibilities of ‘what’s next’ after an overseas experience. There will be ongoing support and mentoring throughout the course, including support in animating an action project.

The cost of the course is €60 and this will cover ALL meals, accommodation and course materials. A component of the course is the opportunity to access a small grant to run an action project.

Dates: 1st – 3rd March (residential in Cloughjordan, Tipperary); 13th April (Saturday) Dublin 8 location and 8th June (Saturday) also Dublin 8 location.
