Jump To Comment: 1Fantastic idea,to get people self sufficient and off the grid...The government have made us dependant on them.
If we strive to be independant the government will worry and will have no use they will be rendered obsolete if we all decide to go this way.
They will worry they will be left behind so will introduce a ''green tax'' so we will yet again be dependant on them for provisions..
Watch out they havent taxed the sun yet they havent found a way to tax wind but they probably will end up doing that if we remain complacent , complaint and take it up the a-hole.
The time has come for us to get up off our asses and get out and protest en masse if the government introduce yet another tax.
I heard about a lot of people getting into this chipping in money together for a well to get off the water grid and so on,if we did this with wind turbines and water and had some solar panels that would mean we no longer have to pay esb or water tax..
