Leinster House Expenditure - Taking the MICK!

SERIOUS BREACH - LEINSTER HOUSE WASTING TAX PAYERS MONIES - LET THEM PAY THE WATER CHARGE

To All Irish People, 18/11/2014

I am writing this in light of the recent HSE audit that identified serious breaches and inappropriate spending of scarce public funds.
For 5 years I worked in a call centre for a large Dublin city centre Taxi company that held numerous accounts for different Government departments.
I think it is only fair and necessary that the public be made aware of the inappropriate expenditure of taxpayer’s monies by our own Leinster House.
For years I had to charge inappropriate journeys to the Dail account. Dail employees and officials are making ridiculous journeys and charging it to this account. The call centre is a 24 hour one and this account was used at all hours. Yes, the Dail would go on late but I don’t understand why any journey is being paid for out of taxpayer’s monies at all hours of the day and night. Journeys home, as far as Newtownmountkennedy, are being charged to us, the people. This needs to be addressed and stopped.
Short and unnecessary journeys to the city centre at all times of the day and night (all in walking distance) were placed on this account.
Outrageous journeys include picking up from Leinster House and dropping to Pubs, Restaurants and even Nightclubs in the city centre – all charged to the Dail account.
The account would again be charged to bring Leinster House employees home after the pubs, restaurant and nightclubs. Why should Taxpayers fit the bill for their social life?
The audacity of this government to even use Taxpayer monies for their own personal Taxi fares. And the audacity to now charge us for water –which is a basic human right – when our tax monies is being spent on their social lives.
The Irish people are having the wool pulled over their eyes, paying for outrageous and completely unnecessary expenses. Having to pay for the Governments own personal costs is a joke.
Something has to be done.
