Islamic Extremist Lectures in Cork

category national | racism & migration related issues | news report author Tuesday May 26, 2015 08:22author by ACRON Report this post to the editors

And not for the first time.

I'm writing in to bring to your attention a Muslim extremist who was speaking in Cork,
at the Cork Dawah Centre on Shandon St. on the 24th of May, called Abdurraheem Green.

I'm writing in to bring to your attention a Muslim extremist who was speaking in Cork,
at the Cork Dawah Centre on Shandon St. on the 24th of May, called Abdurraheem Green.
A cursory look at his Wikipedia page (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Abdur_Raheem_Green#Contro...rsies)
shows he's been on Western governments' watch lists, promotes jihad AND anti-Semitism, and is
even banned from at least one major football stadium in London for his activities. The man has even called for homosexuals to be stoned to death!!! Given the few weeks of gay marriage we've had, this clearly flies in the face of the Irish public's values.
As a local, I think your readership deserve to know what kind of preachers this group is getting to speak to the local Muslim youth.
Here's a link to their facebook page with the poster with Green's name on it:
https://www.facebook.com/CorkDawahCentre
He's lectured here before too, according to the centre's website, which still has a previous seminar advertised:
http://www.corkdawahcentre.ie/

Unfortunately it appears that the centre (or at least the talk itself) is run by iERA (http://www.iera.org/contact), a "British" organisation which doesn't even have a HQ in Ireland. For me this makes it all the more startling as Islamic extremism is clearly more prevalent (and well funded) in the UK than Ireland. For a group from over there to be targeting the youth here is worrying indeed.

Apologies for the brief, disjointed article. Had to get this one out quickly. Spread the word!

Your worries are definitely of concern but for slightly different reasons. First off it should be made clear that the vast majority of these types of extremists lectures and individuals such as Abdurraheem Green are setups and tools of the intelligence services -although not the Irish ones. The individuals themselves are often pretty clueless to the bigger picture and are actively encouraged and the way is made clear for them. Focusing just on the situation in Syria, since that Wikipedia page mentions some of his associates went there, it ought to be recognised that the so called "rebels" who are really cut-throat terrorists have been financed and backed by Qatar, Saudi Arabia, the USA, Britain, Canada, France and Turkey. They have financed these people, trained them, supplied them weapons. You may recall a few years back these people were presented as freedom democracy loving fighters but that myth couldn't be sustained and it became clear over the past few years that those fighting in Syria were Al Qaeda and and various assortments of extremist jihadist groups and of latest the latest incarnation which is ISIS. And yet the West still fully backs them although they are more coy about it.

Al Qaeda of course go back to the Soviet-Afghan war of the 1980s, when the Saudi Arabia financed and the USA openly supplied weapons and training through the Pakistani intelligence services to the Mujahideen composed of Afgan and Arab fighter. For more than 20 years Saudi Arabia has financed these extremists Muslim schools all over the Muslim world that produces these people and nilist extremists. However Saudi Arabia is joined at the hip to the CIA and it is said they can't even have a piss without America say so. The only point of promoting extremism is avoid any sort of liberal development and hold back the Arab world while we essentially get their oil relatively cheap and to promote the endless wars in the Middle East which have cost trillions. These trillions one should understand get spent and it is the military industrial complex which has made untold billions from these wars. The last thing they need or want is peace and that is why there isn't any. A lot of people don't realize that the entire Middle East was far more peaceful and liberal during the 1950s.

The problem though is that people back in the West can't figure out why so much is spent on wars and so little on important things that promote the well being of society. So they have to justify it and fuel it. So they need to get these extremist messages to the muslims living in the West and at the same time have a steady supply of volunteers going over. This is then used to justify a crackdown on civil liberties and dissent in general thereby furthering tightening the grip of the corporate state and so a low level of terrorist events are used in the West to keep people on board. Ultimately it is to crush any potential movement that might fight for the rights of regular people and the whole austerity thing is the backdrop to how it is being taken away. Ever wonder why the Left and environmental movements have become so ineffective in the last few decades. They haven't won a significant victory of any sort in years. In the USA the process has gone its full course and the Left is more or less completely gone and the corporations and banking have completely taken over and we're catching up rapidly here.

And now to the particular case of Cork. You may remember the shooting and Charlie Hebedo thing in France and another later in Denmark. Both of these were deep state undercover operations and their sole purpose was to promote fear, support bombings in the Middle East and justify further curbs of civil liberties. In the march that followed a few days in Paris, the complete front row largely consisted of war mongers and their associates. A few months back there was an attempt to get an extremist to hold a lecture in Dublin and now we see this in Cork. This looks like a potential provocation and should it take place, may result in some kind of incidence. Clearly the leading powers and I don't mean anyone in the Irish government, have decided Ireland needs to step up to the mark and join the fear club. There is definitely something going on here but we can be sure of one thing, these things are allowed to happen and your gut instinct seems is obviously saying to you, something is not quite right and thats because you are right.

Unfortunately for Muslims who are naturally very angry with the West for bombing for example, Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya, Yemen, Syria back to the Stone Age and killing and maiming untold hundreds of thousands; they are manipulated and used as part of the tool-set to continue their own destruction and unopposed extraction of their natural resources.

Just wondering if the writer of the article on ABdurraheem Mc Carthy has met the individual himself.
It seems the writers comments are more extreme that McCarthy's preaching.
Is this not a mere attempt at scaremongering.
Leave each to their own, he may hate the concept of homosexuality but not the homosexual.
All Abrahamic faiths prohibit the act of homosexuality, why target his faith.

I am wary of a blanket statement like this in T's post: " You may remember the shooting and Charlie Hebedo thing in France and another later in Denmark. Both of these were deep state undercover operations and their sole purpose was to promote fear, support bombings in the Middle East and justify further curbs of civil liberties."

I suggest a wait and see response to T's warning. The Gardai doubtless have visitors like the "Muslim marxist" on their radar screen.

No, it is not what I meant and indeed you are correct the actual extremists are not intelligence agents at all. Instead they are pawns, patsies or useful idiots whichever term suits.

It is actually the higher level players who are controlled. So for example, if you take some so called "rebel" faction, the actual foot soldiers are people who have been churned out by these extremists schools who been worked up into a frenzy and may have been on training camps. They would be paid by the leaders of the particular faction. The arming and financing though may come from what appear to be in their eyes legit sources, like sheiks/religious leaders from Saudi Arabia or Qatar. The actual planning of attacks and so forth will be decided by people at the top and it is in that zone where the intelligence services of Qatar and Saudi Arabia operate and with them their Western masters. So there is quite a good degree of separation to allow for deniability.

Saudi Arabia has been promoting these extremists schools for many decades and there is no possibility that this would be permitted without the okay from above. In Turkey a few years back several billions dolllars equivalent was raised for these extremist schools for Islamic countries along Russia's southern borders. The amount raised far exceeded what is collected by all charities in the whole of Turkey. The money plainly comes from state actors and or drug money.

In another case there was a radical Inman in one of the London mosques spouting extremist nonesense for quite a few years after 9/11 and it got to the point where members of the public were demanding he was arrested. Lo behold it later emerged he was working for the intelligence services.

Liz, I think you've got the wrong guy. While I've never met either, I'm quite sure that Abdurraheems McCarthy and Green are different people.

T, you're dead right of course. It's a narrative I'm familiar with but without definitive proof that Green is an asset of MI5 or a Gladio B op. or whoever I decided not to go there, but thanks for adding such a detailed background. After hearing Neil Prenderville giving airtime to Anjem Choudary, who I believe does certainly have ties to MI5, after Charlie Hebdo, it was clear that Ireland is on the map for the Powers That Shouldn't Be, at the very least.

To my dismay, the Cork News newspaper just rang and aren't going to run the story as "there isn't much of a story there", apparently because I'm not part of an activist group and didn't want to be named. I shouldn't be surprised, but I'd forgotten that formatting is more important than info to the media, even the local (which is why Indymedia is there I suppose).

a recently released document proves that US military planners knew that something like ISIS might likely emerge in Syria
and try to form a caliphate in Iraq / Syria if they supported the so called "moderate" fighters but they went ahead anyway

http://levantreport.com/2015/05/19/2012-defense-intelli...gime/

I'm with T's analysis here as it is clear that a strategy of fear and "controlled chaos" (though maybe not quite as controlled as they would like!) engineered by the US and it's facilitators in the corrupt monarchies in Saudi Arabia / Qatar is being pursued and being used to keep arab countries with oil/gas weak and fighting among themselves, to weaken russia and it's allies in the area by having this chaos on their borders, to destroy russian allies such as Syria, Iran, to boost military equipment sales (ISIS and others are all using US weapons) and to drum up fear at home to facilitate more draconian spying and police powers, amongst other things.

If Saudi money dried up in the morning, poppy crops in Afghanistan were properly targetted, (Afghanistan now has 85% of worlds heroin. Under taliban originally, this dropped to 0%, and this increase to 85% happened with thousands of US troops occupying the country!! ) and US weapon supplies through third parties dried up too then ISIS would likely wither away and run out of ammo pretty quickly, but these facts are rarely mentioned in the MSM.

There is some more analysis of a similar nature here worth reading:

and here:

and it's always worth reading the PNAC document linked to here with some analysis:

and indy published a very interesting(!!) analysis of so called "colour revolutions" here:
https://www.indymedia.ie/article/102162

A lot of this information is starting to leak out to a wider audience and it's heartening to see such ideas appearing more regularly on internet fora, to counteract the torrent of self serving paid propaganda and misinformation being circulated on the net by an army of keyboard warriors. Look it up. The US cyber misinformation / disinformation budget alone is absolutely eye watering and they have hundreds of dedicated umbrella groups working at this, each with lots of permanent fulltime employees, all pumping out this guff for their whole working day, manufacturing consent and muddying the water on important topics on all the major opinion forming website comment sections and popular forums. You have to picture the scale of such an operation and what it could achieve for it to really hit home what an absolute bath of propaganda we are immersed in and how difficult it has become to get to the truth in most geopolitically important situations.

Keep an eye on these sites to help counter some of the misinfo (but be aware that misinfo gets through everywhere from time to time):

Why should we believe what they say in the links given? The posters in such sites are fascinated by imaginary conspiracies. There is no evidence to back up the allegation that the murderers that attacked Charlie Hebdo and the kosher supermarket in Paris were being run by western agencies.

well why do YOU believe fox news, CNN, BBC, RTE, al jazeera, rupert murdoch's rags, or denis o'brien's mouthpieces?

The mainstream media outlets are concentrated in a very few hands, They have agendas and serve government and corporate interests.

you need to read widely around the internet to get a better picture.

I see you use the old "anything not on message is a "conspiracy site" trick. How unimaginative! :-D

How typical of the current mainstream media bias and blindness of our officials that the dawah “cultural” centre has even been allowed to open.
Under this name hides in fact a madrasa, and a mosque.

The centre “breaching two planning conditions” at the time according to the Irish Examiner.
Only Ken Flynn opposed the irregularities of this opening, in vain since the “officials” in charge had obviously another agenda.

Cronyism and collusion are not new phenomenon in our country, nor is naivety. Why on earth would the officials authorise the edification of this so called “cultural centre” in a place like Cork?

In the press at the time one could read:

“The city’s planning department has issued a warning letter to Dr Radwan expressing concerns that the building is being used outside specific opening hours, and is operating as a place of public worship.”

Which is now fully the case, but our “compliant” authorities seem to ignore the fact.

Here are the answers from Dr Radwan, half veiled menace, half typical self victimisation, usual islamic double language:

“This is a place to educate about Islam. How can I do that without the conditions to pray.”
“We are trying to integrate into the society. As part of our integration, we feel we need to practise our religion.”

So their way to integrate is to educate about islam, bring their practices and spread it to others, then circumvent the rules agreed and transform the “cultural centre” into a mosque?
Very strange way to integrate really. It looks more like he ask us to integrate to them!

And now for the menace and the blackmail:

“I have written to Micheál Martin. He’s a high political figure and I told him to try and intervene,” he said.

“We don’t want something to escalate for the sake of the community and society.

Things have escalated for no reason. We haven’t even officially opened the place.”

Of course, he doesn’t want “something” to escalate, typical half veiled menace, that this something could escalate.. Unless of course, we submit .

And because they are the eternal victims, we have to let go, because to integrate, a chance for us that they are condescendingly willing to integrate, by educating us… If it wasn’t so serious for the future of our city, it would be hilarious.

"Journalists” and politicians report and agree on that without any further insight?

Where is the money coming from? Which humanity loving regime is financing this “cultural centre”, Saudi Arabia, Qatar ?

We can read this in the mainstream media:

“Local residents' concerns focus around claims that the building at the end of Shandon Street is already in use as a mosque despite the owner's insistence this is not the case.” (indpendant.ie).

On the website of the so called “cultural centre” (corkdawahcentre.ie), one can read:

“Welcome to the official website of the Cork Dawah Centre ... please contact the office or visit the mosque (sic) at 73 Shandon Street ... Clear enough.

The Irish times:

“invite Muslims back to the true teachings of the Quran and Sunnah and to educate Non Muslims about Islam”.

Here is the real political agenda, to teach the true teachings - eliminating automatically the Shia , just for tolerance sake- and to educate us (that is to convert us).
As if we needed to be educated at all…

At the same time appeared in our streets, strange people, veiled from head to toe, a multiplication of people dressed like Dark Vader outside of Halloween, something unseen before in our community.

Also appeared something more alarming: the new proselytes.
In front of the former Gate cinema, they are there with their stand, promoting, distributing tracts and leaflets, calling the ‘clients”, trying to sell you their dogma.

Is it legal Mr Mayor ?
Another part of Dr Radwan political program of teaching the truth and educating us?

How is it that welcoming people in your country, the first thing they do it to try to convert you ?

What kind of people do that?
The kind who want to assimilate, integrate to a country, respect the local rules and beliefs or the kind who want to conquer and colonise ?
One just need to listen to news, open a newspaper and TV to see how the “religion of peace” is implementing its well known kindness for humanity in countries like Syria, Libya, India, Sweden, Britain, France, etc…

Many thanks to the current Cork county and city officials, to the current government to close your eyes on what is really going on in your land, country and cities.
Is it naivety or corruption? A bit of both probably, as usual.

But the people of Cork have their eyes wide open.

A video that has gone viral seen by millions. It won't stay long online because it tells the truth about the current invasion of Europe. And the reality of the "religion of peace".

Irish people, especially in Cork just discover what other Europeans have been through since a long time (from 20 to 40 years for some countries).

In absolute terms, a religious "cultural" centre wouldn't be any problem but experience proves that islam is not just a religion, it's a also a political ideology with a strong agenda.
