Huge Explosion rocks Indaver flagship Belgian plant![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Indaver operate an Incinerator in Meath and have planning permission for another in Cork Harbour The Dutch company Indaver operates an incinerator in Duleek, Co. Meath and have lodged planning permission for another incinerator in Cork Harbour. In light of this the explosion of their plant in Netherlands today has significance for us here. The explosion, the cause of which is not yet clear, started in a storage bunker. According to Indaver themselves it was a violent explosion followed by three fires. It took almost 4 hours to get completely under control. See video below.
It is essential to put an end to this planning application once and for all. 30,000 people and 2 planning Inspectors have rejected it before Bord Pleanala refused planning in 2011.
