Is it ever legitimate to compare a Pride flag to a swastika? Usually it's exaggeration, says Steven Tucker, but the Canadian human rights tribunal that fined a town for not flying the flag is doing its best to change that.

Lunar Republic?

category international | sci-tech | other press author Wednesday September 21, 2005 15:31author by iosaf Report this post to the editors

the organisation "lunar Republic" have just started the long process of internationalising their proclamation and ideals, their web site has just launched and might prove a good umbrella or maybe not...

For many years now I have lamented the lack of a "space.indymedia", we have added biotech to the global list, we have seen many initiatives on satelite technology, but the issues of space, and the use and misuse of space exploration and speculation are yet to be drawn together by us.
she really is much much more important that we think.
she really is much much more important that we think.

The USA through its monolithic space agency NASA has announced plans to "return to the moon". The chinese dropped plans in the last two years for manned exploration, the indians claim they will send a probe in the next five years. But for the moment the Moon in terrestial exploration historical and legal terms is best "claimed" by the USA.

This signals an increased drive on the part of scientific and capitalists lobbies to profit on micro-gravity environments and again raises the issues of financial exploitation of "off earth sites".

It is currently illegal under unaminous UN resolution for any state on the earth to claim or extend sovreignity to the Moon or any other planetary object. No claim may be made on the boundaries of lunar real estate.

A very large section of our planet's telecommunications and military sectors are though well represented in geostationary and other types of orbit. Space has made as well as spent huge fortunes, and the perceived control of space is a military as cultural objective of many "superstate" entities.

visit the site:-

There you'll find the californians who thought this up have been busy collating history, an atlas, some theories on settlement issues, legal links, a free flag [you send them the earth postage they send you the flag, don't know how its getting there yet though] and links to the main international space players. Please note they are selling lunar real estate as well. But if you pay the 16$ lunar citizenship fee you get a discount.

please fuck off a.s.a.p.
as soon as we learn how to stop you coming back, we'll be grand. I'm sure you'll enjoy the view.
Pity the new neighbours will eat you, slowly by putting eggs in your stomach. But we won't hear you scream, or as Roald Dahl the illuminate hinted "-s-c-r-a-m".

Nissin Food makers Japan
make noodles, they are proud to make more noodles than anyone else on the planet, and for a while now have been promoting their product using advertising slogans which might seem familiar to you.-
click on their website and come back.
http://www.nissinfoods.co.jp/english/
They are one of the companies that have managed to get round the old and latest Chinese internet regulations. Their corporate practise is "good capitalism" their politics isn't Social just their slogans.
They have now agreed with the russian space program to fly samples of their products into orbit and photograph cosmonauts eating them. And the happy and hungry chinese internaut can read this shite without fear of being shopped by the neighbours

This is profitable exploitation of Space.
& is illegal under UN resolution.

Be Warned!!!
it may start with cup noodles,
it will end with neon strip lighting on the moon.

& never forget it was Nixon (an even more trusted man) who said they'd done it.

Friday the 13th proved to be the day the Japanese fired off their moon rocket to distract attention from their scandal riven government & tall buildings with floors lifts never goto story. So far they've succeeded in convincing everyone that the Japanese are very good at high-technology and the Moon is still newsworthy. "...The Moon is one of the very rare objects in the Cosmos which holds such a geostationary orbit. It fucks your head up completely if you think about it for a long time or have access to detailed maps over a period of several centuries. In fact it's such an obvious anamoly you'd think people would want to be going in completely the opposite direction...."
- excerpted from Isaac Newton's private diaries.

This top silly science story is being archived by The Guardian next to the dead sea scroll x-ray story which as well as being a silly science story is a religious artefact story which will renew & extend faith in both Pope Ratzinger and Ian Paisley. The majority of Japanese when polled are crap at foreign exchange rates & express concern for an elder relative who hasn't returned from a Pacific island & is stil fighting the yankees. Nissin & Nissan approximate to the Japanese word for 23. One do cars with hydrogen technology the other do noodle adverts in space. Go in the opposite direction. There is room for all of us in the hollow earth. We must go stake our claim at the Arctic entrance. Bertie Ahern has never been to a moonbase & thus hasn't prepared an answer.
