Justin Trudeau wants to prorogue Parliament to buy time before the election. Voters will punish him for it, says Prof James Allan, but it's a mistake he must be allowed to make without activist judges getting in the way.

Professor who survived Holocaust will be buried in Israel

category international | crime and justice | other press author Wednesday April 18, 2007 19:11author by Obit Report this post to the editors

Rumanian born victim of Virginia shootings

Professor Librescu was a 75 year old professor in Virginia Tech.
He lectured for twenty years in solid fuel mechanics.
He chaired the International organising Committee of the 6th international
congress on thermal stresses in 2005.

He will be buried in Ru'anna ,Israel on Wednesday
Prof Liviu Librescu
Prof Liviu Librescu

There was a high victim profile of teachers and professors in the Virgina Masaccre
with most of them in computer or tech fields.

Professor Librescu had used his body to protect his students.

Interestingly one Irish woman survivor had received an e mail to remain in her room
at the time of the shootings.

Obits are in most of the coverage all over the media.

So what if he's being buried in Israel? Is he the only HERO to have died violently this week? Did he in any way touch our movement, inspire our concerns - or was he instead one of our opponents? Do we really need to know more about him? Are we required to mourn - gnash our teeth and wail for this?
Like do I have to sing the Kaddesh? Are we to hire a piper?

It's like I didn't see any obituaries for the Amish kids who got done. No one spoke their German or didn't buy their newspapers or watch their telly? Oh! they don't have any. I wonder why that is. They're probably third world or something.

NEWSFLASH!
The 4 Irish people who survived the VT shootings might probably be buried in Ireland or at least attend a funeral in Ireland within the next 20 years.

How obscene can Obit the real one get ?

Did he not have time to read this mans life story and his most heroic efforts to save his students

by satnding in the door way to allow the young people to get out

-- the Jewish belief that he who save one life saves a world

or is his anti smeitic bile so over whelming him
24 /24 that he pressed his keys before what is supposed to his mind engaged ?

what really gets your outrage?
the life?
the death?
the burial?
or the obit?
or could I squeeze in my concern for good teachers here? Let's make him a symbol. What exactly was he doing in this rocket science thing anyway? I want people to identify with him now coz you accused me of being anti-semite. It's been a few weeks. I'm pretty happy about it, coz I've been accused of being a homophobe all afternoon. I do like the variety. Been ages since someone called me a class traitor.
