While on a speaking tour talking about the development of anarchism in Ireland I'm taking the time to interview people who are hosting individual meetings about local activism and US politics. In this interview with Senia and Mark in Providence Rhode Island they talk about Students for Democratic Society, the IWW, anarcho-feminism in Puerto Rico and the US primaries.
I hope to make this the first in a sequence of interviews from all over the USA that I'll record as I travel around. I'm also blogging the meetings at http://anarchism.pageabode.com

The discussion at the end about the election and the war was particularly interesting. Great idea, you don't often hear the voices of anti-capitalists in Ireland.
An interview with four members of the Boston union of the North Eastern Anarchist Communist Federation (NEFAC) that touches on NEFAC, the Boston Irish, housing organization around the foreclosure crisis, unemployed workers organising and political prisoner support in the USA today. And of course the US elections.
It's a 27 minute mp3 file - the previous interview in this series can be found at http://www.indymedia.ie/article/86424 Anyone interested in reports of the meetings that I am doing as I move around will find them at http://anarchism.pageabode.com
