The DUP's Gregory Campbell has been questioned about the removal of the National Flag in County Fermanagh.
Following the controversial flying of the British flag in Letterkenny in County Donegal, it emerged that the Irish National Flag was removed from neighbouring County Fermanagh.
Flags representing a number of countries were on display near St. Angelo's Airport outside Enniskillen. However, the National Flag was removed ahead of a Royal Black Preceptory march through the town on Saturday, 9th August.
A spokesperson for Republican Sinn Féin said:
“Gregory Campbell was quick to criticise the people of Letterkenny for objecting to the flying of the flag of a hostile foreign power in the town, and stated that he would have no difficulty with the Irish tricolour flying amongst the flags of other countries within the Occupied Six Counties.
“Will he now condemn the removal of the flag of this country from St. Angelo's and call for its reinstatement?"
