RSF: Night Time Stalker Hits City Estate

category limerick | gender and sexuality | press release author Friday October 03, 2008 16:43author by RSF-Vín - Republican Sinn Féinauthor email rsflimerick at yahoo dot ieauthor address Republican Sinn Féin, 223 Parnell St, Dublin 1author phone (061) 311457 Report this post to the editors

Republican Sinn Fein today issued an alert to the people of Ballinacurra Weston in relation to the night time activities of a mysterious stalker who enters the bedrooms of young women.

Spokesman Joe Lynch from Beechgrove Avenue said that the night time stalker has entered the bedrooms of many women in recent weeks.
There is fear in the community over the activities of this man who enters homes and then stands in the bedrooms of women, he said.
In some cases women have awoken and were very frightened to see a strange man standing in their bedrooms.
We are now urging the people of Ballinacurra Weston to be vigilant and to ensure that their doors and windows are locked.
We have also had reports that female clothing has been stolen in recent weeks so local people are very concerned.
Our advice is to the people to be conscious of this man and to take all necessary security steps to protect their homes.
We also urge victims to come forward and give all the details to the proper authorities to ensure that this reign of terror is brought to an end before there are more serious incidents.
