It will be more uplifting than anything else if there is a new wave of local councillors elected this year, and it is very comforting to see that a proper Republican candidate is going forward.

P.S. I found th web site for meath it is as follows
www.freewebs.com/meathrsf
As the selected candidate for Republican Sinn Féin in the kells local election,I would like to state that I look forward to meeting the people of kells on
the door step. The people of kells have a chance for real change that will give them a voice inside the council chamber.
I invite the people of kells to contact me with any questions they might have in relation to what I and Republican Sinn Féin can do for them.

best of luck peter. you (and the other rsf candidates)are offering a voice to the people of kells that is not beholden to or intrested in teh status quo. here is an oppurtunity to PUNISH the career politicians as well as REWARD the local people wit ha genuine voice. i wish you and the other candidates who are standing on the idea of local democracy the very best!
"about time there was some fresh blood " is an unfortunate metaphor to use given the rather bloody history of this brand of republicanism in recent decades including in Meath. Detective Garda Frank Hand was shot dead not far from Kells in Drumree by a republican gang robbing the local Post Office. Maybe Peter Fitzsimons would care to comment on that since he seems to have a position on very many other things.
It's interesting to see Peter as PRO, Vice Chair in Leinster, the Chair of his Cumman and also on an RSF Committee.... it makes it look like RSF are a big party and not just a handful of people!!!
Joking aside what is RSF's/Peter's solution to the Economic crisis?
I Disagree with the comment saying that because this man who is running in the local elections in kells holds more than one position in RSF,it means RSF are a small group!!!
Does it not show the strength of an individual when he is in a position of three seats within an organisation?????
Cumann Chair ----- Local level
Vice Chair ----- Leinster executive
PRO ----- Leinster executive
It just goes to show that RSF must hold peter highly.
He is a young man, so for a man his age to be selected for election and for those 3 positions he holds he must be doing something right for republican sinn fein.
And can anybody actually say the exact amount of members RSF have??? Last i heard it was touching near 3 thousand members????????
With the local elections a few short months away, I would just ask are there RSF candidates in any other areas ?
as far as i know there is two candidates in leinster
three in munster
one/two in connaught
pity they dont contest dublin or big citys like that
Fair play to them tho
