Whether the "black hole" Rachel Reeves claims to have identified was ?22 billion or ?40 billion, it pales into insignificance next to the billions we spunked up against the wall to "manage" the pandemic.

English Monarch Not Welcome In Ireland – Rnu

ENGLISH MONARCH NOT WELCOME IN IRELAND – RNU

The REPUBLICAN NETWORK for UNITY (RNU) Cathaoirleach/Chairperson, DANNY MCBREARTY, has stated that the English monarch should not be given an Irish State welcome while her Government continues to reject Irish National sovereignty.

The REPUBLICAN NETWORK for UNITY (RNU) Cathaoirleach/Chairperson, DANNY MCBREARTY, has stated that the English monarch should not be given an Irish State welcome while her Government continues to reject Irish National sovereignty.

‘It is a matter of deep regret that senior politicians have extended an official invitation to the Commander- in-Chief of Britain’s Crown Forces, Elizabeth Windsor to visit the Twenty-Six Counties. Given that six Irish Counties remain under armed British occupation,

Mrs. Windsor is inextricably linked to the centuries-old rejection by the British to give Ireland her independence. As such, RNU will rigorously oppose the planned visit and encourage all Irish Republicans, Socialists and Democrats to actively campaign against it.

It is also beyond belief that the Dublin Administration is willing to spend over 8 million Euro despite the fact that the majority of Irish families are forced to live on low incomes and spending cuts in vital areas such as Health Care and Welfare cuts. How can the government justify squandering €8 million of tax payers money on a single visit when this money could be used to fund voluntary organisations or health service provisions? Mr. Cowan states that there is now no obstacle to a visit of the British Monarch, but RNU states that there are an additional 8 million obstacles.

RNU hereby challenge Mr. Cowan to justify spending 8 million euro on one single person on a controversial visit to Ireland’.

if people on the left come together this can be stopped.

if people on the left come under one banner, the banner of anti-imperialism

then this can be stopped.as long as party banners are not considered more

important and party politics more important, then this could be stopped.
