Hard Hit Communities Hit Out At Government Hypocrisy Representatives from the Canal Communities Big Push Campaign protested out side Dail Eireann on Wednesday as TD's return from their summer break. Eilish Comerford, a community worker in St. Michael's, Inchicore pointed out the injustice of having being subjected to three audits by the department to ensure financial compliance with funding regulations by a government which has brought the country to its knees.

Great to see you and the 'Core Crew' on the protest at Leinster House last Wednesday (29th September) and even better to see (and hear!) the fantastic reaction you got from passing traffic and the general public.
You and yours livened it up for us in Clondalkin last year on the protests outside John Curran's Office , and you done the same in Kildare Street - looking forward to working with ye again !
