Lobby your TDs on the immediate need for legislation to give effect to the X case

Take action and ask your TD to make legislation for the X Case a priority for the government. Your action will make a difference to ensure that we do not have to wait another 20 years for legislation to implement the constitutional right to an abortion in cases where the life of the mother is at risk. TDs need to hear from the 79% of the population who believe abortion should be available in certain circumstances. Thank you for your support!

In an exclusive interview with RT, Syrian President Bashar Assad said he will not leave Syria. Assad also spoke on the calls for armed foreign intervention in Syria, and the possible fallout on the country’s internal conflict and across the region.

“We are the last stronghold of secularism and stability in the region and coexistence, let’s say, it will have a domino effect that will affect the world from the Atlantic to the Pacific and you know the implication on the rest of the world,” Syrian President Bashar Al-Assad told RT in an exclusive interview that will air on Friday, November 9.

“I am not a puppet. I was not made by the West to go to the West or to any other country,” he said. “I am Syrian, I was made in Syria, I have to live in Syria and die in Syria,” Assad said during the interview. ... read full story / add a comment

So called Syrian "freedom fighters" claiming to be rebelling against atrocities committed by the Assad government are seen here massacring wounded men on the ground. If that's not an atrocity, what is?
RTE have been reporting in a very one sided manner on Syria, painting these "rebels" in a good light while putting the boot into the Assad "regime" at every opportunity. Our Taniste went on a one sided tirade against the leadership in Syria for 15 minutes of the prime time program recently before going to the UN to urge them to create a no fly zone in Syria. These murdering thugs in this video are the people they are protecting. Tanaiste, RTE, you have blood on your hands! ... read full story / add a comment
