Freedom Fighter attack

category international | anti-war / imperialism | news report author Monday August 06, 2012 16:00author by Racist Arsehole Report this post to the editors

Egyptian Army attacked

IDF soldiers prevent attack on "Israeli regime" by "freedom fighters" who attacked and killed Egyptian soldiers

At around 8 pm local time the "IDF regime" soldiers identified a group of "freedom fighters" engaged in an attack upon an Egyptian army base near Rafah. The "freedom fighters" killed around 15 Egyptian soldiers and stole two vehicles – a lorry, which they loaded with explosives, and an armoured personnel carrier.

The "freedom fighters" then proceeded to storm the border between Egypt and Israel near the Kerem Shalom crossing. The "Israeli militant" kibbutz also named Kerem Shalom is situated nearby.

The truck self-detonated at the border in an action presumed to be an attempt to target "Israeli regime" soldiers at a nearby outpost. Due to the huge blast resulting from the large amount of explosives in the truck, some "israeli militants" in the area mistakenly reported being under rocket fire at the time.

The armoured personnel carrier crossed the border into "Israeli regime" territory and was struck once from the air by the "Israeli regime" Air Force. As the "freedom fighters" abandoned the vehicle, they were also targeted. In all, five "freedom fighters" were killed: one who was driving the truck and four travelling in the APC.

It is presumed (by Israeli regime propaganda wonks) that the "freedom fighters" intended to kidnap "Israeli militants" or to target an "Israeli militant" house in the area. Some ten thousand "Israeli regime" militants live in the vicinity. The "freedom fighters" were in possession of large amounts of weapons, flak jackets and explosive belts, indicating that a lethal attack was prevented.

Lt. Col. Leibovich stated that the "IDF regime soldiers" had prior intelligence on the subject of this attack which had prompted the issuing of a warning to "Israeli regime militants" not to enter Sinai several days beforehand. At present, the affiliation of the "freedom fighters" involved in last night’s incident is still under investigation. In the past year or so, the Sinai Peninsula has become an area of increased "freedom fighter" activity for a variety of groups, as indicated by previous attacks originating from the territory including those of August 18th 2011 and June 18th 2012.

Hmmm......pretty fishy!

"The truck self-detonated at the border "

Quelle Surprise!

Sooooo, I guess Mossad didn't get enough mileage out of their false flag attack on a bus full of their own citizens in eastern europe and had to activate one of the nut job terror cells they had infiltrated and encouraged in a mossad hatched plan to attack an egyptian weapons dump. Nice one! No precious Israelis harmed, plenty of gushing sympathy afterwards for Israel and plenty of leeway to exact revenge on Iran / hisbollah / hamas from a servile media, only nutty towel heads were killed and a bunch of egyptians as a bonus Yay!

Well, I have never seen such unanimous unmitigated joy that so many Arabs were killed in the Rafah crossing battle, as evidenced in the preceding contributions to this thread.

Joy because it provides an excuse to blame the Jews. In what way, exactly, they are supposedly to blame for the lethal battle is not made clear, but let's blame them anyway. Everything is always the fault of the Jews.

Since most of you are anti Israel I’m not surprised by your comments. Shalom you are one sick person. To refresh your memory, this time last year an Israeli bus was attacked near Eilat. Terrorists fired on passenger bus. Six people died, 25 injured and five people e were mortally wounded in that attack. Since Mubarrak was arrested Egyptian security forces are losing grip on Sinai desert region and security is lax. Arabs kill one another, look what’s happening in Syria, send your Human Rights and Flotillas to that area. God bless Israel and our Israeli soldiers.

This fascination some Irish folk have for proscribed Arab terrorist organisations never fails to fascinate and surprise me. It must be the recession........ Israel is a democratic legally established state who's very existence is constantly under threat by Arab fundamentalists. Israeli borders, particularly in the south, are a target for rocket attacks on a regular basis. The Sinai episode only goes to demonstrate the fragility of the peace between Israel and Egypt.
Ill thought out arguments only serve to feed the hatred for Isreal and Israelis. History has told us that Jews are responsibe for all the troubles of the world. We demonstrated how we dealt with this belief during WW2.
Israel always has the right to defend its borders. Remember, Israel gave land for peace. So far no peace....but hey..still a fab place for a holiday...

Well done to the IDF for successfully preventing these terrorists from entering Israel where they surely would have murdered innocent civilians. While we don't know how much, if any, real information the IDF had prior or whether this was shared with the Egyptian security forces, perhaps Egypt should start working closer with the IDF and Israel.

The fact that the Egyptians could not stop these Islamic terrorists proves how deadly they were and so well done to the heroes in the IDF for once again acting to protect their civilians (Jewish, Muslim, Druze, Christian etc..) from yet another Islamic fundamentalist attack. Why is there no protests urging Muslims to take some group responsibility? In Israel murderers (of any religion) are caught and punished and certainly condemned. In Gaza for example they name streets after them and call them martyrs!

BTW, Nice use of fake Irish names to engender support for your position among the gullible paddies. Well, you lot used our passports I guess, why not use fake Irish names for your dodgy internet posts too!!

Needless to say, It's the Israeli security apparatus / mossad I'm referring to here...

"Well, I have never seen such unanimous unmitigated joy that so many Arabs were killed in the Rafah crossing battle, "

Sorry you were too stupid to realise it, (or at least pretended to be in order to spin things) but It should be clear to anyone with one working brain cell that my previous comment was intended to be sarcasm.

I certainly feel no joy that Israeli agents yet again are prepared to write off arab lives like they meant nothing in another false flag operation to score some political capital and create the political space needed to further their agenda repressing more brown poor people in Gaza.

"Joy because it provides an excuse to blame the Jews. In what way, exactly, they are supposedly to blame for the lethal battle is not made clear, but let's blame them anyway. Everything is always the fault of the Jews. "

It's not the jewish people I'm blaming at all. It's the state of Israel and their notorious mossad agents. Many jewish people worldwide also reject the actions of IDF and mossad and their apartheid regime imposed on the people of palestine, and their belligerant actions and sabre rattling and flaunting of international law, all of which by association only serves to bring the otherwise proud and noble jewish race into disrepute.

Terrorists would not have benefitted in any way from this daft operation. But Israel certainly would.

And trying to link eveything to Jim Corr or anti semitism doesn't wash any more. People are starting to get wise to the little media tricks now

I suppose you will now state that the Mossad was behind the Egyptian army killing 20 terrorists and destroying armoured cars in Sinai today after terrorists attacked security checkpoints? By the way they had the support of Bedouins this time and not the IDF.
You mentioned that Jewish people worldwide reject the actions of IDF. For your information without the IDF there would be more deaths from Gaza’s daily rocket fire. You should read the Israeli papers for update!
Open your eyes, of course the terrorists would benefit had their operation succeeded. They want to stir trouble between Israel and Egypt and destroy the Peace Treaty. Time for you to get wise. God bless Israel

The blatancy of apartheid - http://mondoweiss.net/2012/07/the-blatancy-of-apartheid....html

"I’m no stranger to Israel and Palestine, still what shocks me about coming here is how blatant the system of unfairness is. Why is this not utterly familiar to me? I wonder. Why don’t Americans see this every day in the news? What kind of fairyland image are we getting of this place, and why? Or as the Canadian Christian pilgrim said to me last night leaving Qalandiya checkpoint, “What endless humiliation. And why is it such an open secret back home?” So everything here brings me back to the American denial, our blindered media, and to American Jewish identity and the lies that American Jews have told one another for generations.

A few impressions of the blatancy. I flew into Ben Guiron from Newark and my flight was mostly Jewish. There were no Palestinians or Arabs on the flight, as far as I could see. The sense was reinforced at Ben-Gurion. I saw no women wearing hijab, the customary form of dress in this part of the world. The shuttle I rode into Jerusalem had ten passengers, mostly American Jews, two binational Israeli American girls, a Christian tourist and an international aid type. This last passenger was dropped at Qalandiya checkpoint to go on to Ramallah. “Is this a hospital?” the orthodox girl in the front row asked. A reminder that the Palestinian reality is sealed off from Israelis, and also that Qalandiya is a vast bureaucratic complex in benign disguise, a border crossing that keeps the subject population Over There. “A lot of the Arabs throw rocks, that is why they put this up,” an older Jew who fought in the 48 war explained to his wife as we passed along the wall.

After I checked into my hotel in the Old City, I ran into Jeff Halper of the Israeli Committee Against House Demolitions. He pointed out the flags above on a dwelling in the Muslim Quarter and said that I was witnessing the process of the Judaization of the Old City and of East Jeursalem generally, Jews cordoning off the holy city. My picture is of Muslims going to the Al Aqsa mosque to pray under these flags. They are reminded of who is boss at every turn.

I have been through Qalandiya twice in the last day and cannot convey what a dreary oppressive experience this is. Long lines of people made to walk in a wide muddy circle past the neverending re-arranged concrete walls, one of which has Fuck You as an eloquent graffiti. The soldiers stand at huge concrete cubes that the bulldozers have placed just so, a couple-hips'-width apart, and stop us at three points on our way in. Women and men are separated, in a fashion that has ghoulish echoes of the worst moments of Jewish history.

Oh but now we have power, now we are in history. This is what thrills American Jews and neocons, our moment. Powerful people do screwed up things.

But all the while my heart is with the Palestinians around me. The men are all gleaming and bathed and fresh. It is Ramadan. They wear nice clothes. They meet your eyes in a welcoming fashion but no one is ingratiating. It is too humbling for anyone to say anything, where are you from? Welcome, which they say in ordinary circumstances. While in the Old City, in the Ramadan crowds that inch packed and dangerous toward the mosque, there are always men at the side spraying water on as you walk by. Tossing it from bottles, spraying it with sprayers, to cool you down. A lovely gesture of community, in which I am included.

I know there is a strong Jewish community a few hundred yards away. It has its own beauties and fellowship and loving embrace. But pardon me if I can’t find my way there right now. I was raised as a Jewish outsider in America, and my spirit gravitates toward the outsiders here.

The largest impression of all: These people have no freedom of movement. It takes hours to make a 10 mile trip, and none of the thoughtful city planning that Jews get in West Jerusalem is extended to the Palestinians. No, they must be constrained at every turn, and choked, so they want to fly away. I would fly away. I’d move to the Gulf, I’d go to Europe, I’d give up.

And again what I find staggering is that we have so little understanding of this reality in the west. I am witnessing apartheid. I cannot think of any other term that so describes the systematic separation of people by race /ethnicity/religion, and the subjugation of one ethnicity to another. Whatever the glories of Zionism in Jewish history, a case I’m more than willing to make, this is where it ground itself out, a boot in the face of a civilized people.

So yes I blame the media. I blame the Times for running Richard Goldstone’s farcical claim that apartheid is a slander rather than Stephen Roberts’s cleareyed piece in the Nation that this is apartheid on steroids. I blame the Israel lobby for enforcing blindness to these conditions, I blame the politicians for accepting the blinders. I blame the Phildelphia Inquirer for saying the other day that a one state future is “untenable,” when what is happening before our eyes is atrocity on atrocity. I blame the Jewish community for lying about what is happening here endlessly, destroying our intellectual inheritance, in the belief that it is good for the Jews. It is a disaster for Jews. It is a disgrace that Americans will one day have university courses and museum exhibits to try to explain to one another when the next generation wakes up to this madnesss and responds with appropriate fury."

Sinai Attack Bears All the Hallmarks of an Israeli False Flag - http://empirestrikesblack.com/2012/08/august-5-sinai-at...flag/
by Martin Iqbal.

On Sunday 5 August a number of unidentified militants carried out an attack in the Egyptian Sinai in which several Egyptian soldiers were killed, and Israel’s border was penetrated. After Iftar as the Egyptian Muslims were breaking their fast, unknown militants killed 16 Egyptian soldiers and stole an Egyptian armoured vehicle. Using a pick-up truck packed with explosives, the militants breached the Egypt-Israel border at the ‘Kerem Shalom’ crossing and subsequently drove approximately one mile into Israel using the armoured vehicle they had commandeered.

This event brings severe geopolitical repercussions for Egypt, and is characterised by extremely suspicious circumstances. Resultingly we must carefully consider this attack within its proper context.

Israel had foreknowledge of the attack

The Israeli military knew in advance that the Sinai attack would occur, which even allowed them to have aircraft defending the area in advance – hence why the armoured vehicle was blown up shortly after crossing the border and the attack was thwarted within 15 minutes of its advent.(1) IDF Chief of Staff Lt.-Gen. Benny Gantz wasted no time in pointing out that “a large disaster was averted.”

This begs the question, why did the Israelis not inform the Egyptian military to allow them to prevent the attack in the first instance? The Jewish Telegraphic Agency reports,(2)

Israeli intelligence had information on the planned attack, which allowed the military to have helicopters in the area to strike the vehicle, an Israel Defense Forces spokesman said Monday.

Israel and Egypt remained in close contact during the attack, Barak said, according to reports.

Israeli Defense Minister Ehud Barak curiously blamed the attack on an unidentified ‘global’ Jihadi terror group. Although Barak is unable to identify the group, we are supposed to believe his alarmist assertion that it is global in nature.

Compulsive liar and Israeli Ambassador to the US, Michael Oren, tried to pin the attack on Iran within hours, stating on his Twitter account,

“Iranian backed terrorists again struck at our Southern border today killing 15 Egyptian guards and attempting to massacre Israeli civilians,”

Obviously it was too soon for him to be in possession of evidence linking the attack to Iran, and Oren subsequently deleted his Twitter post. Israeli Prime Minster Benjamin Netanyahu did precisely the same thing with regard to the Burgas terror attack in Bulgaria, subsequently retracting his claim that Iran was behind the carnage, instead blaming Hezbollah. At the time of writing, the identity of the perpetrator of the Burgas attack is unknown to Bulgarian and US authorities.

Late last year MK Aryeh Eldad, foaming at the mouth, stressed that “World public opinion should be prepared“(3) for Israel waging war on Egypt, should Egypt deploy more troops in the Sinai than what has been agreed in the Egypt-Israel ‘Peace’ treaty. Today however, Israeli Defence Minister Ehud Barak is demanding that Egypt step up its military control of the Sinai:(1)

“Perhaps this will be necessary wake-up call for the Egyptians to take matters in their hands in a more serious way,”

Israel’s designs on the Sinai

There are alarming indications that Sunday’s events were a false flag attack designed to give Israel the pretext it requires to carry forward its regional agenda. The Sinai raid must be considered within the context of Israel’s longstanding designs on the Sinai Peninsula.

In February 1982 an important Hebrew paper appeared in a Jewish journal named KIVUNIM (Directions). Penned by Oded Yinon and titled ‘A Strategy for Israel in the Nineteen Eighties‘, the essay delineates strategies for Israel to become a regional hegemon in the Middle East. The short and long term strategies discussed involve the dissolution of the surrounding Arab states, and the expansion of Israel beyond its current undeclared borders.

Israel covets the Sinai for not only ideological reasons (the realisation of ‘Eretz Yisrael’ – Greater Israel), but also economic ones. Yinon makes no secret of Israel’s designs on the Sinai:

The loss of the Suez Canal oil fields, of the immense potential of the oil, gas and other natural resources in the Sinai peninsula which is geomorphologically identical to the rich oil-producing countries in the region, will result in an energy drain in the near future and will destroy [Israel's] domestic economy: one quarter of our present GNP as well as one third of the budget is used for the purchase of oil. The search for raw materials in the Negev and on the coast will not, in the near future, serve to alter that state of affairs.

(Regaining) the Sinai peninsula with its present and potential resources is therefore a political priority which is obstructed by the Camp David and the peace agreements. The fault for that lies of course with the present Israeli government and the governments which paved the road to the policy of territorial compromise, the Alignment governments since 1967. The Egyptians will not need to keep the peace treaty after the return of the Sinai, and they will do all they can to return to the fold of the Arab world and to the USSR in order to gain support and military assistance. American aid is guaranteed only for a short while, for the terms of the peace and the weakening of the U.S. both at home and abroad will bring about a reduction in aid. Without oil and the income from it, with the present enormous expenditure, we will not be able to get through 1982 under the present conditions and we will have to act in order to return the situation to the status quo which existed in Sinai prior to Sadat’s visit and the mistaken peace agreement signed with him in March 1979.

Israel’s ultra-secure border was penetrated during the August 5 attack in which 16 Egyptian soldiers were killed; the operation was sophisticated and ambitious. Considering this in hand with the fact that Israel had foreknowledge of the event, it is highly likely that this attack was carried out by (or with the support of) Israel’s notorious ‘thou shalt wage war by deception‘ intelligence agency, the Mossad.

The raid serves as a perfect pretext for Israel to realise its desire to reoccupy the Sinai. As Israeli propagandists crawl out of the woodwork and baselessly blame unknown ‘global’ terror groups in addition to Iran, we would be terminally foolish not to treat this event with the utmost suspicion.

Israeli Mayor to Demolish UN Humanitarian Agency Emergency Shelter - http://www.imemc.org/article/64050?

Israeli Mayor of occupied Jerusalem, and Jewish racial-supremacist extraordinaire, , Nir Bakat, approved the demolition of two structures built by the United Nations (UN) as temporary emergency shelter for Palestinian families after Israel demolished their homes.

Maxwell Gaylard, the UN Humanitarian Coordinator for the Occupied Palestinian Territories defended the agencies actions as emergency humanitarian assistance provided when the Palestinian families turned to the UN agency for help.

Gaylard echoed the concerns of other human rights groups in the area and noted that Palestinians in East Jerusalem apply for housing permits but do not receive them. He added, “Where else could we put [the shelters]? We are helping the Palestinians on land that is theirs. Beit Hanina is occupied Palestinian territory.”

Other officials at the agency noted that they did not require a permit for building because in addition to being build on Palestinian land, they are only an emergency solution, are not connected to utilities, and do not have foundations.

The shelters have the UN agency’s logo on them along with the flags of the donor countries of Great Britain, Sweden, Switzerland, Norway, Spain, The Netherlands and Ireland. Israeli officials claimed that the flags were only there to embarrass Israel in these countries as it destroys their donations.

If Israel is embarrassed by people outside of its borders watching as they demolish emergency housing for families, perhaps they should reassess their decision to do so.

Cairo dutifully fell in line, with Mursi allying himself in a joint offensive with Egypt’s Supreme Council of the Armed Forces (SCAF) and with Israel.

Mursi sent in the security forces to close down its border with Hamas-controlled Gaza, the only one not under Israeli control, completely isolating the Gaza enclave. Heavy machinery was sent in to seal entrances to tunnels--believed to number 1,000-- used to smuggle goods, fuel and weapons into Gaza.

Military forces launched a massive security crackdown, raiding hundreds of homes in northern Sinai to search for suspects, arresting several people, and deploying helicopter gunships to search out militants in their desert hideouts. After a number of armed clashes, the military launched aerial attacks on towns and villages in northern Sinai, killing at least 20 people. This was the first time Egypt has fired missiles in Sinai since the 1973 war with Israel.

Hours later, Mursi sacked Egypt’s intelligence chief and the head of the North Sinai governorate. General Mohamed Murad Mowafi was quoted in the Egyptian media as confirming that the intelligence services had received warning of Sunday's attack. He had apparently only passed the information on, saying that the intelligence services' job was only to collect information. Mursi also dismissed the commander of the presidential guard and several other top security officials.

These actions were taken in close co-ordination with Israel, who agreed to the deployment of additional troops in Sinai over and above that set up in the 1978 and 1979 Camp David Accords. Danny Ayalon, Israel’s deputy foreign minister, said that Israel and Egypt would increase security cooperation.

The gobshite tries to present Israeli nationalism and history as a parallel of Irish.

"Jewish Israeli murderer gets 45 days for killing Palestinian women http://english.al-akhbar.com/content/israeli-sniper-giv...sh%29

    Published Sunday, August 12, 2012

An Israeli soldier faces just a 45-day jail term for the murder of two Gaza civilians carrying a white flag, after the military courts agreed a plea bargain on Sunday, the army and local media said.

The sniper, identified by Israeli media as "staff sergeant S," was charged with manslaughter in 2010 over the fatal shooting of 64-year-old Riyeh Abu Hajaj and her daughter Majda Abu Hajaj, 37, during Israel's 22-day bombardment of Gaza that started in December 2008.

But the Israeli military said the charge had on Sunday been reduced from manslaughter to using a weapon illegally.

According to a report by Israeli rights group B'Tselem, the incident occurred on 4 January 2009, when the Abu Hajaj family evacuated their home after it was hit by an Israeli tank shell.

"When they saw tanks about 150 meters from them, two of them waved the (white) flags, and the children in the group sat on the ground," B'Tselem said.

"Suddenly, and without warning, shots were fired at the residents, killing Majda Abu Hajaj on the spot. Her mother, Riyeh Abu Hajaj, was severely wounded by the gunfire," it said. She later died of her wounds."

"Racist Regime Supreme Court rejects demands to investigate torture of untermenschen " http://www.middleeastmonitor.com/news/middle-east/4123-...rture

The Israeli Supreme Court has rejected two petitions for an order to the Attorney General to carry out a criminal investigation into allegations of torture and mistreatment by the Shin Bet security agency.

A number of human rights organisations submitted the petitions last year in protest at the work of the official observer of detainees' complaints against Shin Bet and the Public Prosecutor regarding the opening of criminal investigations into the internal security agency. Some of the detainees alleging mistreatment were signatories to the petitions.

The Popular Committee against Torture submitted a report claiming that there were 598 complaints about torture and mistreatment against the agency between 2001 and 2008. The country's Public Prosecutor has not ordered an investigation into any of them.

Summing up, Supreme Court Judge Elyakim Rubinstein said "Shin Bet is neither above the law nor fortified against criticism, but the nature of its work [the oppression and destruction of the non-Jewish indigenous unternenschen] has to be considered."

In addition, Judge Rubinstein said that he had to consider the "political and ideological background of absurd complaints". [i.e. the complaints were made by untermenschen and their fellow-travelers and since these people are non-Jewish untermenschen they can safely be assumed, by all decent Zio-racists, to be liars]

The Judge pointed out that opening an investigation is very important, but it necessary not to be arbitrary if there is clear evidence.

The Director of Israel's Public Committee against Torture, Dr Ishai Menuhin, said that the Court supported the central claim of the petitioners that members of Shin Bet cannot investigate their own colleagues. He added that the Court's decision contradicts international law which considers it to be mandatory to open an immediate and independent investigation into allegations of torture.

Are you on Indymedia Ireland not able to follow events? The Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt has moved to take total control in the country, somewhat akin to the Hitler move in 1933, if you know your Nazi history. That is the BIG news in the world but maybe you are out of touch.

On another thread Diablos writes:

"Because an elected President moves to challenge the military dictatorship established by Mubarak in conjunction with Washington and Tel Aviv??

Please explain that one for those of us who think this may be a move AGAINST the fascistic puppets who have been holding hands with Netanyahu, and Sharon and earlier predecessors.

And if Europeans can elect Christian Democrats, Yanks evangelical bigots and Israelis right-wing Judaic primeval nut-jobs, while we here in Ireland have still to shed the grip of Rome...why should Arab/Asian peoples not elect Muslim Brotherhood candidates...

Should they elect Jewish fundamentalists ??? "

It seems as if the elected President has just won the election and is thereby just asserting his rights for having won that election, and thus is just asserting the ways of Parliamentary Democracy.

If only!

But Adolf Hitler in 1933 took total power into his hands also asserting the rights of parliamentary democracy.

It is amazing how gullible many people can be, or how so many people are ignorant about history.

They have never heard of “One Election, One Time”.

In order to have made an assessment at the time in 1933 as to what Hitler was doing in those negotiations with the Centre party and others, obviously you would have to take into account what was Fascism and who were the Nazis. Not a question of some pure democracy because Hitler was telling all and sundry that he was the purest of the purest of democrats.

It is a little like that in Egypt today. Why should any worker anywhere listen to the likes of Morsi and believe a single word he says, rather it is necessary for a worker to go into the background of this man, and of his organization the Muslim Brotherhood.

There is also a tie up with Libya, Tunisia, Bosnia, Croatia, Kosovo etc. and the most important thing for all Marxists to see is that the central force in all of these situations was the American Government, from Carter, through Clinton to now Obama. All American Governments have been supporting The Muslim Brotherhood, including its section in Gaza (I am sure everybody knows by now that Hamas is the Palestine branch of the Muslim Brotherhood.

The US and EU is funding Hamas with hundreds of millions. A recent delegate to Gaza from Sudan was astounded, exclaiming “I wish we in Sudan could live like this” and the US and EU will make sure that the gravy train continues to run to Gaza

It is likely that the Muslim Brotherhood would have taken power nowhere without the most direct backing of the Obama Regime backed by a big section of the republicans, and certainly by every Government of the EU, including Ireland.

As always a certain type of person in Ireland sees Israel as the bad guys in everything. There is a name for this of course.

But the only way Israel is involved is through stupidity of its leaders, who have either not understood or understood too late, or caught by their subservience to the US masters.

But as Patc replied to a lady from Carlow yesterday who has not replied I notice...In what way is Israel going to gain from any of this? From specifically Assad being overthrown and replaced by The Muslim Brotherhood in Syria?

Of course it is the opposite. As Patc has noted and has had the integrity to say Israel is obviously being surrounded by regimes led by The Muslim Brotherhood while after much huffing and puffing from the West to its East Israel faces an Iran which will have nuclear bombs to attach to rockets well capable of reaching Israel by October, that is within weeks

Always Wrong: Predicting Iranian War and Weapons - http://antiwar.com/blog/2012/08/10/always-wrong-predict...pons/

But Walt’s piece reminded me of this timeline from the Christian Science Monitor back in November of last year listing official warnings of an imminent Iranian nuke for about thirty years now. According to western intelligence, they’ve pretty much always been on the verge of having the bomb. Below is a summary:

    • 1984: West German intelligence sources say Iran’s production of a bomb “is entering its final stages.”
    • 1992: Israeli parliamentarian Benjamin Netanyahu tells his colleagues that Iran is 3 to 5 years from being able to produce a nuclear weapon. Foreign Minister Shimon Peres tells French TV that Iran was set to have nuclear warheads by 1999.
    • 1995: New York Times reports US and Israeli concerns that ”Iran is much closer to producing nuclear weapons than previously thought” – about five years away.
    • 1998: New York Times reports that long-range missile development indicates that “Iran is bent on acquiring nuclear weapons.” Former Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld reports to Congress that Iran could build an intercontinental ballistic missile – one that could hit the US – within five years. The CIA gave a timeframe of 12 years.
    • 2002: CIA warns that the danger from nuclear-tipped missiles from Iran is higher than during the Cold War. Dubious claims from the MeK (now widely believed to be passed on by Israeli intelligence) say that Iran has undisclosed uranium enrichment facilities in breach of IAEA safeguards.
    • 2004: Secretary of State Colin Powell claims Iran is working on technology to fit a nuclear warhead onto a missile. “We are talking about information that says they not only have [the] missiles but information that suggests they are working hard about how to put the two together,” he said.
    • 2005: U.S. presents 1,000 pages documentation allegedly retrieved from a computer laptop in Iran, which detail high-explosives testing and a nuclear-capable missile warhead.
    • 2006: New Yorker’s Seymour Hersh quotes US sources saying that a preemptive strike on Iran is all but inevitable.
    • 2007: Bush and Cheney imply an impending attack on Iran if it doesn’t give up it’s nuclear program. A month later, the National Intelligence Estimate (NIE) on Iran is released, which controversially judges with “high confidence” that Iran had given up its nuclear weapons effort in fall 2003.

Attack Israel, Not Iran! http://theuglytruth.wordpress.com/2012/08/13/attack-isr...seph/

Last time Iran invaded a country was 216 years ago when the Persian shah, Agha Mohammad Khan, invaded the nation of Georgia. That’s still a great track record, especially compared to other nations.

Israel has repeatedly attacked and invaded numerous counties, and continues to this day to illegally occupy land from three neighboring nations.

Iran has not illegally developed nuclear weapons, whereas Israel has developed an illegal secret nuclear weapons program that has produced hundreds of nuclear warheads.

Iran has signed the UN Non-Proliferation Treaty. Israel has refused to sign it.

Iran’s spies have not been caught stealing nuclear secrets from the US. Israel’s spies have been repeatedly caught doing this, and Israel’s current Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has been implicated in smuggling US nuclear triggers into Israel.

Israel is reported to possess up to 300 nuclear missiles aimed at Arab and European capitals. Some can even hit US cities.Iran has no such weapons and has repeatedly said it does not wish to have them, this being in contravention of basic Islamic principles.

Iran has not sold US weapons and secret weapons technology to a US adversary. Israel has been selling US weapons and secret weapons technology to China for decades. Jewish spy Jonathan Pollard sold vitally important American secrets to the Soviet Union, as did the Rosenbergs.

Iran hasn’t been guilty of getting hundreds of thousands of US troops killed or maimed in expensive wars for Iran. Israel has repeatedly pushed the US into costly wars for Israel, expecting American citizens to fight and die for cowardly Israelis.

Israel has repeatedly been engaged in kidnapping of foreign nationals from other countries and smuggling them into Israel. No record of Iran ever having engaged in such a crime.

Israeli air and sea forces attacked the USS Liberty in international waters off the coast of Egypt for two hours on August 8, 1967. This took place on midsummer day with raised American flags and large English letters painted on the ship. 34 sailors were killed and 174 injured.

Last May, the Iranian Navy foiled an attempted pirate attack on a US cargo ship in the Gulf of Oman. The Iranian warship arrived following a distress call from the ship. The pirates fled upon the arrival of the Iranian Naval ship.

Israel has for the last five years imposed an illegal and inhumane siege over 1.5 million Palestinians in Gaza, causing unnecessary death, pain, and suffering. In contrast, Iran has sent aid and provided comfort to the besieged Palestinians — the very same thing America did to the Germans during the Berlin Airlift.

One could go on and on forever.

However, as a USMC veteran and activist, Dave Evans, succinctly pointed out:
“Anyone who had not sworn an oath for peace could reasonably conclude that the US should be threatening to attack Israel, not Iran!”

It’s about time Americans did something to prove they were the Masters, not the Slaves.

The capital of America is Washington, not Tel Aviv.

[Israeli Regime] Decision to Attack Iran ‘Almost Final’ - http://news.antiwar.com/2012/08/10/netanyahu-decision-t...inal/

Israel’s top television media outlet, Channel 2 News, has announced today that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Ehud Barak are extremely close to finalizing a decision to attack Iran, saying that the decision could be made any day now.

The two have been pushing for a war for quite some time and are seen “on the brink ” of approving it despite strong opposition from the Israeli military leadership. The news follows unsubstantiated claims earlier this week that Iran’s civilian program is nearing a “breakthrough” and that Netanyahu is convinced the US won’t launch the war for them.

The reports have the same timetable we’ve been seeing for months now, with Israel launching the attack in the weeks leading up to the US Presidential election in November. In February US officials termed the weeks before the vote a “sweet spot” for such a war.

It also includes an analysis of the US election, with Israelis deciding Obama is unlikely to attack Iran before the election and that neither he nor Mitt Romney would be liable to do so in the first year after the vote

They do so in order to control their own people and scare them into supporting the Militarised Nazi-like State of Israel and it's Military-Industrial Elite

Anyway
who gives a shit what the so-called 'Jews of Israel' CLAIM to believe.

You've been supplied with plenty of evidence that what the so-called 'Jews of Israel' CLAIM to believe is usually a bunch of LIES. And the so-called 'Jews of Israel' are quite aware what they are claiming is nothing but blatant lies, for the last 30 yrs or more in fact

"There will be war. "

and THAT statement is why you are a Fascists and why the so-called 'Jews of Israel' (the Zionist ones anyway) are considered to be Fascists

YOU are a disgusting lying propagandist and warmonger Felix - you claim that it is Iran that is the Danger and it is Iran that is the one issuing threats yet it is clear from your very own words that it is the likes of Zio-Nazis such as yourself that are issuing ALL the threats.

"Get used to that idea. "

And THAT is why you are readily identifiable as a National Socialist (or Nazi for short) Felix

Fuck off with your war-mongering and blood-lust Felix, you NAZI scum

You earlier attacked PatC for stating his 'belief' and here you are peddling claims about what the so-called 'Jews of Israel' CLAIM to believe regarding Iran

So once again, Mr Felix-the-Nazi, what is your evidence to support these supposed 'beliefs' of the corrupt Military-Industrial elites of the Zio-Nazi State of Israel?

EVERY IAEA inspection has turned up exactly NOTHING in the way of evide3nce that the Iranians are manufacturing a Nuclear Weapon - Zero, Nada, Ziltch

Just because Zio-Nazi scum like you, Felix, repeatedly and dishonestly CLAIM otherwise doesn't make it true.

Zio-Nazi scum like you, Felix, have been making such dishonest claims for decades now - and STILL we see NO EVIDENCE of ANY Iranian Nuclear Weapon
