Photo Comp...

This is a message from the good People at sacredireland.org:-

"A photo competition to show your idea of the most beautiful hidden feature of the Gabhra
Valley or surrounding area... Rainbow weather is imminent so for those special pics..."

The list of prizes and details of the photosize etcetera can be had from:-

tarapark@sacredireland.org

Rath Lugh Mappie
Rath Lugh Mappie

The above C+P is taken from the http://www.sacredireland.org website and the group have sent on
details to Savetara and Pixie. They want the images in jpeg format and only one photo per entry.
The prize is rather special and they have (as everyone knows) supported the campaign through
the years in action and writing.

may have requirements such as food, first aid, ropes and tampax :-)]

Photo competition details on our website............
The photos would be used to promote the Park.
There's also a fresh poster on the website for download.
We're trying to steer people to the Meath Park Master Plan through our website, none of the other sites seem to offer it any prominence and it's a big part of the vision.

Correction and apology......
.......it's hard to find on some of the Tara campaign websites.

We need to refocus on what we're fighting for, we've been so taken up with what we're fighting against.
It's still not too late, if we can start envisioning that tract of land replanted with meadowmix and herbs and shrubs and trees and walkways and cycle paths and pony trekking paths and happy smiling people..............

Campaign Calls For An Independent Report on Rath Lugh Area.

If you look at some of the old Tara Threads you will note that the NRA maps, aerial surveys
do not even have Rath Lugh marked on the map at all. Dr Ni Bhrolochain has supplied
site maps here and in the CST webpages.

A rainbow in the eastern sky against a disturbed grey/blue sea
The north easter howling
Dark foreboding clouds
Carrying heavy showers
Of torrential rain
But blue sky in between
And plenty of it
The promise of better days ahead.

And a rainbow arcing from the Hill of Tara
To Lissmullen
And Rath Lugh

People planting meadowmix
And herbs
Shrubs
And saplings
In the scar
Left by the machinery

The pot of Gold
The nucleus
Of the Park
