10th Annual Cooley Environmental and Health Group Winter Workshop

The 10th annual winter workshop organised by Cooley Environmental and Health Group takes place in The Strand Hotel, Omeath, Co Louth, on Satruday 23 January 2010. It starts at 14.00 and concludes at 17.30. It will be followed by a celebratory dinner in the hotel.

The title of the workshop is a phrase coined by Dermot Mooney "Back to Basics - A Plan for Survival" and it has obvious topicality at this time of looming depression.

The program is as follows:-

The summarizers Messer’s Seán Crudden and Dermot Mooney will give conclusions.

The photograph posted with this notice was taken this morning outside Dundalk Media Centre after Dermot Mooney and Archbishop Hynes as well as Sean Crudden (all members of Cooley Environmental and Health Group) had taken part in a radio discussion with Harry Lee broadcasting on Dundalk FM 100. Titiola Ossai is the receptionist in Dundalk Media Centre.

The Strand Hotel is situated on the seafront overlooking Carlingford Lough. To get there turn right when you drive down to the pier in Omeath. The Strand Hotel is situated about 100m along the shore road from the pier.

If you wish to attend the workshop you are more than welcome but please let one or other of the organisers, whose details are given in the article above, know in advance.
